Last Sunday, Overseer Doris May spoke on "The Fulfillment of God's First Promise."
Her lesson text was taken from Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 9:6, and Luke 2:7.
Two points we can take away from this powerful message:
-If God makes a promise, He will keep it.
-God loves us.
The first promise was fulfilled when Jesus Christ was born. We must understand how Jesus came as a baby to save us. God is with us, reconciling us back to Him, but we must be careful not to be beguiled by the enemy.
God loves us, and when He makes a promise, He always keeps it. The promise of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, came but did not stay. It's not the end of the story. The last promise will be fulfilled. Jesus is coming back!
God will set up a situation to get us where we need to be in Christ Jesus.
