In St. Luke, the people were looking for a king to save them from their problems. However, Jesus came for a greater purpose: to save them and us from our sins.
This journey with God is a faith walk.
Let's not be like those who cried "Hosanna" one week only to shout "Crucify Him" the next. We must praise God at all times. When we live according to the Word of God, we can have peace in the middle of life's storms.
We must repent when we fail to do what God tells us, expecting Him to discipline us in the loving way only our Heavenly Father can. Then have faith to believe our sins are forgiven so we can continue this journey with God.
What an Awesome God we serve!
