“Proverbs 31: 21st Century God-Fearing Women, Taking a Stand.”

On this Mother's Day, Overseer Doris May delivered a dynamic message entitled “Proverbs 31: 21st Century God-Fearing Women, Taking a Stand.” (Proverbs 31:1, 10-31; Ephesians 6:14)

In Proverbs 31 we see a mother teaching her son how to identify the right woman. Overseer May emphasized the importance for single men to seek God's guidance for a wife, as scripture says that it is not good for the man to be alone (Genesis 2:18).

God has placed a lot in women. The Proverbs 31 woman was not only a homemaker; she was also a businesswoman who helped those in need. When we become Godly women, He will provide us with all that we need to fulfill our purpose.

Women are important to God. Husbands must be careful how they treat their wives. She should be honored as the weaker vessel (I Peter 3:7).

Overseer May went on to say that satan is trying to destroy our children. God-fearing women must be willing to help children they did not birth and God-fearing mothers should allow their “village” to help them with their children. We must come together as one to help save our children.

There is a need for God-fearing women who will take a stand for righteousness and against the devil (Ephesians 6:10-19).
