Last Sunday, Overseer May's message focused on "How Do You See Yourself?"
Her lesson text was taken from Numbers 13:32-33.
Two points we can take away from this inspiring message:
-You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.
-Don't look at how it seems in your eyes; trust God's promises.
God commanded Moses to send twelve spies to search the land that He promised them and report back on what they saw. They all agreed the land flows with milk and honey, and they brought back proof of the fruits. Ten were afraid, but two were ready to obey and trust God.
Joshua and Caleb had faith that God would give them the victory. The people would not listen, believing the ten spies instead of God.
It does not matter how big or how scared we are. We must always obey and trust God. We must see ourselves as more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. Don't rely on your vision; rely on God's vision. Amen!
